Raymond Blanc, Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons

"At last food, glorious food is part of the British consciousness – let us celebrate it.
We are now entering a new world of food, driven by ethics, local produce and seasonality;  a responsible and knowledgeable consumer will be at the heart of it.
I am extremely pleased to express my wholehearted support for the Welsh Food Festival’s excellent effort in campaigning for fresh, local and seasonal food – things that all of us at Le Manoir believe in and cherish. I urge you to attend the 2007 Festival on the 1st and 2nd of September, to show your own support for local producers and to show your own belief in the benefits of buying food locally. Festivals such as this are an important initiative for us in reconnecting people – especially children – to the land that is the source of all our food. There is a great deal of fun to be had in doing this, and I wish everyone who takes part in this ambitious festival a happy, entertaining and delicious weekend."
